2023 Review

I was grateful that 2023 was one of the best years of my life! I hope to keep up the momentum in 2024!

Here were my 2023 Goals. The reason I share on the internet is to keep myself accountable!

Fitness Routine 43% workout rate

❌Log 156 workouts on my Apple Watch

  • This did not happen, I logged 135 workouts which led to a 38% workout rate. My lowest months of working out were March, October, and November. This makes sense to me as October and November were right after my wedding and I was very tired!

  • My highest months were January, August, and September- again this is not surprising because of my wedding.

  • My favorite workout was Yoga Sculpt at CorePower and I am the most consistent at it so I will keep this same goal for next year! Wish me luck on hitting it!

Read 18 Books

✅ I read 18 books this year!

  • I believe reading really helped my stress levels and sleep quality this year. I found my sleep schedule improving because I was committing to reading instead of scrolling my phone at night.

  • My favorite book was Fourth Wing and The Court of Thorns Series. I will definitely be reading more fantasy this year. I also have a goal to join a book club with friends!

  • All 18 books were romance/fantasy so I guess I have a type? Maybe ill expand in 2024!

Travel

✅ Visit 2 new countries this year.

  • I actually changed this goal to 2 new cities though I did reach the goal of visiting two new countries. There are many places I want to travel to with Hamilton so we can repeat countries and try a new city in them to satisfy my exploration side!

  • Shore-ditch - London

  • Hudson - New York

  • Curacao

  • Toronto

Learn Tamil

❌ I completely gave up on this. I really enjoyed the class and seeing my cousins more often. But the language was getting very challenging and I couldn’t put the time in to improve. I hope my cousin Rebecca learns for us all! I am appreciative of the small amounts of Tamil I did learn :)

Ok so that wraps up 2023, now let’s talk about 2024 goals.
