Q1 2020 Reflection
Hello everyone!
Wow a-lot has happened with COVID 19, but essentially the beginning of 2020 was hopeful, and I wanted to continue with that theme. In Jan, I traveled to ATL. This is where I started photography, and I wanted to tribute to that time in my life where I had nothing to do but take creative photos. Then, I went to India for my cousin’s weddings, I transitioned the gallery from tone of blues to yellows and green. I thought a lot about the similarities between NYC and Bangalore. This is portrayed by merging some photos so the user can’t really tell where they are. I put in some social distancing photos because that is the reality of our world right now. I found even though the people are distancing in the city, NYC is still as beautiful and spectacular as ever. As you click on each photo on the work page, its full group of photos will appear, I meant for it to be explorative.
All of this was edited on LightRoom CC. I’ve switched to a mobile and cloud-based editing, using my iPad pro. The photo plan 10 dollars a month with 1TB data. This plan you can chose to either get LR CC and Photoshop, or LR CC and 1TB cloud space. its helpful for now, but I will prob run out of space so need to be organized. As for the user interface, it takes getting used too. Once you do get used to it, I feel like I can make more dramatic editing and my photos are more precise(especially with the pencil!). I have not gotten to the level where I am faster on LR CC than classic yet. There are downfalls, aka the Cloud is sooooo slow to upload photos to share across devices. I think these are improvements Adobe is working on. Thats all for now! Feel free to reach out with feedback, and stay safe out there.
